Ruth Helen (Persky) Altschuler, 97, who died Aug. 28, 2025, was a perinatal educator at Yale New Haven Hospital, volunteer pianist at Hagaman Memorial Library, active synagogue choir member, and avid baker who enjoyed dancing, singing, and engaging with her community.

Raymond L. Jacobsen, 89, who died Aug. 14, 2025, was a U.S. Army veteran, computer scientist at General Dynamics and other institutions, and outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed fishing, biking, skiing, hiking, gardening, kayaking, cooking, and walking the Niantic boardwalk.

Ron DeMartino, 86, who died Aug. 13, 2025, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, finance professional with Olin Corporation and United Technologies, volunteer with Guilford Interfaith Volunteers, Literacy Volunteers, and Guilford Youth Mentoring, and an avid baseball player who enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Michael Thomas Korwek, 69, who died Aug. 11, 2025, was a maintenance supervisor, Teamsters member, avid music enthusiast and collector, DJ, and pool and backgammon player who attended concerts and enjoyed music trivia.

Michael Stokes, 32, who died Aug. 9, 2025, was devoted to his family and a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and a former quad rugby player with the Gaylord Sports Association.
