Recently Divorced and Seeking Support?

Women and Family Life Center will host another of its workshops to assist women in the early stages of divorce.

 

The following is a press release from Women and Family Life Center:

On March 28 from 6:30-8:30 pm the Women & Family Life Center will host another in its continuing series of workshops to assist women that are in the early stages of the divorce process or are separated and contemplating divorce.  Local attorney Robyn Klaskin and certified divorce financial planner Lisa Gresham co-facilitate the workshop.  According to Klaskin and Gresham, the workshop is designed to provide basic information that will educate and empower participants.  As a result of attending women can make informed decisions about what path is the right one for them.

Topics covered include types of divorce, paperwork filed with Court, the process and schedule involved in divorce, role of professionals in different types of divorce, the most critical financial mistakes to avoid, tax implications, and the difference between divorce coach and therapist.  The co-presenters also offer “12 Steps to a Successful Divorce.”  There is a $25 registration fee and interested women can register online by visiting the W&FL website at www.womenandfamilylife.org.
