Registration Now Open for Guilford Parks and Recreation Spring and Camp Programs

Registration for Guilford Parks and Recreation for their Spring and Camp Programs begin today, Feb. 6. Programs are available for all ages and include fitness programs, ballet classes, painting and more. Sign up now to save your spot!

 

Today is the first day you can register for Guilford Parks and Recreation awesome Spring and Camp programs. Programs are available for all ages, from preschoolers to adults. Programs will include yoga for all ages, zumba, adult sports leagues, and cooking for kids, just to name a few.

Special Events

Winter Wonderland Monday, February 18, 1-4 on the Guilford Green: Fun way to spend your day off with caricatures, face painting, horse drawn carriage rides, inflatables, mobile arcade, laser tag, snow globe photo dome, donkey rides and more.

Eggstravaganza Saturday, March 23 rain date: March 30: 10:00 on the Guilford Green. Tons of chocolate eggs, face painting, bonnet and top hat contest and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

Summer Day Camp Registration- EARLY BIRD SPECIAL register for Camp Menunkatuck before April 15 and pay only $200 per session (discount for session 2, 3, 4 ONLY).  

Active Adults 55+

AARP safe driving class- Wednesday March 20 or April 17 12:30-4:30. $12 AARP member, $14 non member check payable to AARP.

Tribute to Barry Manilow- Tuesday, March 26 at the Aqua Turf. Family style lunch including soup, salad, baked salmon, chicken francais, vegetable, potato and dessert. $40 includes bus, lunch and show.

Bermuda Cruise presentation- Friday, February 22 at 11:00 come hear all about our 7 day cruise aboard the Celebrity Summit from Sept. 1-7.  Spend 3 days docked in King's Wharf. 

Easter Baskets For Homebound Seniors- We are collecting candies, cookies, crackers, nuts, chocolate bunnies and jelly beans to put in baskets to distribute to homebound seniors.

In order to reduce printing and mailing cost, the Department has elected to not send out brochures to each household in Guilford, but has instead decided to publize the programs online, social media, and through word of mouth. You can continue to receive the brochure in the mail for a $10 applies; just register for program #62100.
