Regular Beach Hours At Quonnipaug To Start This Weekend

The weather is supposed to be rainy and stormy this weekend, so you might not need this information. But the weather was supposed to be rainy and stormy Friday, and it turned out to be a decent day, so here you go. 

The Guilford Parks and Recreation Department says regular summer hours will start at Lake Quonnipaug this coming weekend. The regular hours for Lake Quonnipaug, located on Route 77 North of Route 80 in Guilford, are Monday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Jacobs Beach, the town beach on Seaside Avenue, also is open and should have lifeguards and gate guards this weekend, the Facebook page says.

  • Kayak and paddleboat rental.
  • Daily fees: $7.00 per resident $10.00 per non-resident (Children 5 and under free)
