Road Closures Announced For Guilford Fair Parade
The Guilford Fair Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 21, rain or shine.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Department has announced road closures fo the Guilford Fair Parade, which is set for Sept. 21 at 10 a.m., rain or shine.
Whitfield Street will be closed from Stonehouse to Boston Street promptly at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday. No traffic will be allowed north or south between those locations, according to police.
The only road open leading to the dock area will be Boston Street to South Union to Stonehouse to Whitfield. Residents should plan accordingly and give themselves ample time if they live, plan on visiting or work in those areas. The parade route, which is Stonehouse/Whitfield/Boston/Lover's Lane to the Fairgrounds, will be closed until approximately 12 p.m. or until all the floats and parade participants are clear.
