Next Phase Of Route 146 Construction Project Begins: What To Know
During the resurfacing phase of the construction project, motorists can expect lane closures.

GUILFORD, CT – With the milling of the 2.66 miles of Route 146 in Guilford completed, construction crews are now in the resurfacing phase of the project.
The resurfacing phase of the project started on Sunday, Oct. 1, and will continue through Wednesday, Oct. 12
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 146 from Sachem Head Road to US-1 (Boston Post Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for the project is 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning.

Due to the Columbus Day Holiday, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said no work will be performed on Friday, Oct. 6, until 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 10.
