Schools Closed Tuesday In Guilford Due To Impending Snowstorm

GUILFORD, CT — Due to the forecast for heavy snow on Tuesday, Guilford Public Schools and central offices will be closed, according to an announcement from the school district.

The forecast calls for snow, heavy at times, mainly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

Guilford could see between 6 to 10 inches of snow, with wind gusts as high as 33 mph. Wind chill values are expected to be between 20 and 30 degrees.
