GUILFORD, CT — U.S. News & World Report recently released its ranking of the top high schools in Connecticut, and Guilford High School made the top 100.

GHS ranked No. 28 in CT, and 1,476th nationwide. Overall, U.S. News & World Report reviewed 25,000 U.S. public high schools for its list, and 198 Connecticut schools made the rankings.

According to the list, the top 10 high schools in Connecticut are:

  2. Darien High School, Darien
  3. Marine Science Magnet High School of Southeastern, Groton
  4. Weston High School, Weston
  5. Greenwich High School, Greenwich
  6. Hall High School, West Hartford
  7. Simsbury High School, Simsbury
  8. Farmington High School, Farmington
  9. Staples High School, Westport
  10. Conard High School, West Hartford

The rankings also include the best magnet, charter and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) schools.
