St. John's Episcopal Church Hosting Chicken BBQ On Aug. 17

Guilford's St. John's Episcopal Church is holding its 52nd-annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the church.

The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at 129 Ledge Hill Road. Along with charcoal-grilled half-chickens; corn on the cob, fresh bread, fresh salad, beverages and desserts will be served, according to a post on the church's website.

There will be live music at the event as well. The event costs $16 per adult and $8 for children under 12.
