GUILFORD--State Rep. Sean Scanlon is running for a second term.

The uncontested Democrat, who was first elected in 2014, represents Guilford and Branford. He accepted the party nomination on May 17 to run for his second term, according to Shore Publishing.

Currently, the Guilford resident serves on the Public Health, Transportation, and Environment committees.
