When you've lived in the same town for 100 years, you have the opportunity to make a lot of friends. And it's clear that Edith Nettleton has made the most of that opportunity.
Edith, who turned 105 recently, sat on the corner of the Guilford Free Library's Historical Room Tuesday afternoon and greeted more than 100 well wishers and friends who came to celebrate her birthday and her many years of service to the library, town, and people in town.
