Turf Debate Continues in Guilford

GUILFORD--The grass isn't always greener.

For Guilford residents, the debate over artificial turf is continuing to stir up debate.

Since approval in December 2015, the town has been discussing the installation of an artificial turf field at the new Guilford High School, according to The Guilford Courier.

The high school building committee is seeking request for proposals for the field, which is set to be installed over the summer, according to the report. Bids on the project open June 7.

Residents have expressed concerns over the health implications of the artificial turf, according to The Courier.
