Parents, grandparents and all community members are invited to take part in a community conversation about creating a healthier environment for our kids. We will discuss several topics, including a review with a Guilford Police Officer of the current laws pertaining to parental liability related to hosting parties (Social Host Laws).

What is a World Café?    It is an innovative way to get people talking about issues that matter in the community. Participants in a World Café will sit at tables and respond to questions about teen substance abuse posed by a moderator.

Participants discuss and have the option of jotting down additional thoughts on paper tablecloths.  After 15 minutes, the groups will mix and begin again. This is the second community discussion hosted by D.A.Y. using this format.
