Veteran of Guilford Police Department Retires
Sgt. Brooks began her career in Guilford in 1999 and through the years has served in various capacities

GUILFORD, CT - A 20-plus year veteran of the Guilford police department has worked her last shift.
On social media, Guilford police are saying goodbye to Sandra Brooks:
The Guilford Police would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Sgt. Sandra Brooks who has retired after 20+ years serving the Guilford Community.

Sgt. Brooks began her career in Guilford in 1999 and through the years has served in various capacities including Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective, Detective Sergeant, Training Sergeant and Patrol Sergeant.
Sgt. Brooks has volunteered with various programs and boards to include youth mentoring, Guilford Youth and Family, and Special Olympics just to name a few.

We are sad to see Sgt. Brooks go but are genuinely happy for her to begin the next chapter in her life. Thank you Sgt. Brooks for your service and commitment to the town of Guilford and all who have passed through in the past 20 years.
