WATCH: Boat Stranded During Sandy Finally Recovered

This drone video shows the boat stranded during Hurricane Sandy being removed in Guilford. It was the last boat to be removed.

GUILFORD, CT - A drone captured footage of Superstorm Sandy's final boat victim being removed during an intricate recovery process in Guilford.

Trade Only Today reports that after 3 1/2 years, the Sea Ray was removed from local wetlands.

The boat was the last piece of Sandy boat debris and was removed in March by Sea Tow Central Connecticut, Trade Only Today reports. The 34-foot-boat was the last stranded boat from the storm in the state, according to the article.

Due to the location of the boat, in sensitive wetlands, it was a time intensive, complicated process. The Shoreline was battered during Superstorm Sandy and Hurricane Irene.
