25-Year-Old Hamden Man Dies In New Haven Motorcycle Crash

A 25-year-old Hamden man died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening in New Haven.

At around 6:49 p.m. on Wednesday, at the intersection of Dixwell Ave and Pond Street in New Haven, Christopher Ferguson's motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Jamarlo Williams, 30, of West Haven, according to the New Haven Register. Ferguson, 25, of Hamden, was ejected from the bike prior the collision, and was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Register.

An initial investigation showed that Williams was driving north on Dixwell Ave and made a left turn onto Pond Street, while Ferguson was traveling south on Dixwell, according to the New Haven Register. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated, according to the Register.
