Last month it was the Quinnipiac University Men's hockey team to make it to the national championships.
This month, the university has another national championship team - the women's rugby team, who took third place last weekend with a 22-12 win over the University of Buffalo in the Emirates Arline's Collegiate National Tournament in Stanford, CA.
And like it did last month for the men's hockey team, Rainbow Cleaners on Whitney Avenue showed its support for the hometown team on its sign.
The cleaners, which has called Hamden home for decades, often cheers on local teams using its iconic and ever-changing sign.
