Back-To-School Carnival In Hamden

The three-day carnival features rides, games, food and more.

HAMDEN, CT — A “Back-To-School Carnival” is being held in Hamden this weekend, beginning on Friday night.

The carnival is sponsored by the Hamden Police Department, and being held in collaboration with Rockwell Amusements & Promotions.

The carnival will take place at Hamden Town Center Park on Oct. 4, 5, and 6.

The hours are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4; 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5; and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

“It's a family-friendly extravaganza packed with thrilling rides, fun games, and delicious fair food,” according to a post on the town’s Facebook page. “Best part? It's totally FREE to enter, and parking is on us! So round up friends and family because this carnival promises memories and excitement for all ages!
