Benjamin Samuel Alter, 16
A memorial service will be held Sunday for the former Hamden resident who attended Shepherd Glen School.
Benjamin Samuel Alter was born in New Haven on June 7, 1996 and died in Hamden on Sept. 24, 2012.
Ben attended Shepherd Glen School in Hamden, and Adams Middle School and Guilford High School, both in Guilford.

Join us for the Out of Darkness Community Walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Hamden to remember him and support a cause he believed in on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m.

There will also be a memorial service on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. on the Guilford Green for friends and family to gather, remember, and say good-bye. Please feel welcome to join Ben's family for either one or both of these events.
