Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro Endorses Curt Balzano Leng for Mayor of Hamden

The Leng for Hamden Committee announces Democrat Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro’s endorsement of Democrat Curt Balzano Leng for mayor for the upcoming special election for mayor.

DeLauro’s statement is as written below.

“Curt Balzano Leng is a life-long Hamden resident, has served on the town council and helped lead Hamden as the Chief Administrative Officer. During his tenure, there has been responsible budgeting, successful cost cutting measures and a real focus on making town government work for everyone. Curt is dedicated to Hamden — serving as coach in the Fathers Baseball and Softball Association, participating in civic associations and enjoying Hamden’s parks with his son, Cooper. Curt has Hamden’s heritage in his blood, Hamden’s management in his mind and Hamden’s bright promise in his heart. I hope you will join me in supporting Curt Balzano Leng in the special election for mayor on Thursday, May 28.”

Leng had the opportunity to meet with DeLauro this past weekend to discuss issues important to Hamden residents.
