Facing History Funds Playwriting Showcase Project in New Haven and other Cutting-Edge Classroom Projects Around the World

This spring, the Brookline, Massachusetts-based international educational non-profit Facing History and Ourselves awarded $40,000 to fund 20 innovative, cutting-edge classroom projects around the world, including $2,000 for Jeremy Landa, a teacher at Cooperative Arts and Humanities Magnet High School, New Haven, Connecticut. To culminate their study of the Holocaust and Human Behavior and examine their role in society, students at this diverse, urban magnet school in New Haven, Connecticut, will work with their drama and history teachers to create a Facing History Playwriting Showcase for the community that will explore themes of upstander behavior and Choosing to Participate.
