HAMDEN, CT — The community is rallying around a former longtime Hamden youth basketball coach who has early onset Alzheimer’s disease, according to WTNH News 8.
WTNH News 8 reports family, friends and former colleagues formed The Jack Pack in honor of Jack Sheehan, who coached in the Hamden Father’s Basketball League for 35 years before stepping down in 2018.
Sheehan continued coaching even after his diagnosis with the assistance of his stepdaughter, Amanda Lynn, according to WTNH News 8.
