Farmer's Market Today: Touch a Truck
The Hamden Farmer's Market takes place every Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the area next to the Miller Memorial Library parking lot.
From the Hamden Town Center Park Facebook Page:
Touch a truck Friday!
This week at the Hamden Farmers Market we will have an extra fun Kids Zone with a touch a truck area, courtesy of the Hamden Police Department and Hamden Fire Department.
It’s a great chance for kids to check out a real fire engine and police car up close. Hamden Youth Services will be there as well, with free arts and crafts for kids and a place for sidewalk chalk.
You may not have seen all our great vendors at last week’s Market. Friday is forecast to be hot and sunny. Why not try a cold smoothie from Earth Warrior Juice? You can find Amber at the Aunt Chilada’s tent. DiSorbo’s will have lemon Italian ice.
If you’re in the mood for something cool and sweet, stop by Michele’s Pies, who will be in the Mobile Food Court, filling in for Four Flowers this week. They will be featuring pudding and strawberry shortcake along with their pies and other baked goods. And remember to stay hydrated by getting some Fred Water in refillable bottles. You can find Fred at some of our vendors, or pick up a bottle at the Town Tiki Bar. Patrick and Anthony will be waiting to serve you!
