Hamden Drug Bust Nets 45 Bags of Crack Cocaine
The suspects, New Haven residents Keith Spruill and Travis Brown, were both charged following a lengthy investigation.

Two New Haven men were arrested on Dixwell Avenue after police said they were in possession of 45 bags of crack cocaine and $1,670 in cash.
The suspects, Keith Spruill, 28, and Travis Brown, 25, were taken into custody after Hamden police officers caught them in a car within the vicinity of 1160 Dixwell Ave. around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
The suspects were both part of a lengthy drug investigation by the department's Street Interdiction Team.
Spruill, of 57 Hemingway St., and Brown, of 538 Elm St., were each charged with a possession of narcotics, and a possession of narcotics with intent to sell. Spruill was detained on a $5,000 bond and Brown was held on a $20,000 bond.
Both are due in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 4.
