Hamden High's 2013 Varsity Football Schedule

Football season is almost upon us, and the Hamden Green Dragons are looking to turn things around.

Last year was a tough year for the Hamden High School varsity football team. The team only won twice, with both victories coming at home, and finished the season with a 2-8 record.

This year, the Green Dragons start their season at home against Danbury on Thursday, Sept. 12 and end it at home against Notre Dame-West Haven on Thanksgiving. The full schedule for the 2013 Hamden High School varsity football team is as follows:

• Thursday, Sept. 12: Danbury vs. Hamden, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 20: East Haven vs. Hamden, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 27: Xavier vs. Hamden, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 4: Hamden at Jonathan Law, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 11: Hamden at Wilbur Cross, 3:15 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 18: Hamden at Cheshire, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 25: West Haven vs. Hamden, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 1: Hamden at Shelton, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 8: Fairfield Prep vs. Hamden, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 15: Hamden at Amity, 7 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 28: Notre Dame-West Haven vs. Hamden, 10:30 a.m.
