As reported by Patch in 2019, it was around 4 p.m. Dec. 13, 2019 when cops were summoned to the bank for the report of a robbery. A man who said he was carrying a weapon robbed the bank, and then fled on foot. The "white middle-aged man entered the bank and passed a note to a teller saying he had a weapon and demanded money," police said, though no weapon was displayed.
