Hamden Man Critically Injured In Crash In New Haven: Police
The pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car, according to police.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Not long after midnight Tuesday morning, police were called to the scene of a car versus pedestrian crash in the Annex.
Arriving in the area of Forbes and Woodward avenues, police found a 37-year-old Hamden man "suffering significant injuries due to the crash," police said.
Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, the man is listed in critical condition, police said. The driver of the involved vehicle remained on the scene, according to authorities.

The New Haven police Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the site. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is being asked to call investigators at 203–946–6304 or the anonymous police tip line at 866–888–TIPS (8477).
