Hamden Mayor Announces 'Mayor's Night Out'
The second 'Mayor Night Out' will allow citizens to speak to the Mayor about community concerns on Mar. 22.

From The Town of Hamden: Mayor Curt Balzano Leng is pleased to announce the second “Mayor’s Night Out” event of 2017. “Mayor’s Night Out” will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Dunbar Hill Volunteer Fire Company, located at 420 Dunbar Hill Road, Hamden, CT 06514.
The Mayor will be available for dialogue and citizen input on neighborhood as well as Town-wide issues in an informal coffee hour-type setting. The goal of this initiative is to provide greater accessibility to the Mayor throughout the community and foster a direct connection with residents. “Mayor's Night Out” will continue to be held in various Hamden neighborhoods throughout the coming months. This primary focus of this session will be on the Mayor’s Recommended FY17-18 Budget, the impact of Governor Malloy’s State Budget, and future plans for the Town.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Mayor Leng stated, “I ask that residents and business owners alike join me for the 2nd “Mayor’s Night Out” event of 2017. I look forward to offering an in-depth look at my recommended budget for fiscal year 2017-2018, and towards answering any questions you may have regarding the budget process or Hamden’s general financial situation.”
