Hamden Obituaries: Karen Pascarella Paris, 51

Karen grew up in Hamden and was a member of the Hamden High School Class of 1979.

Karen Pascarella Paris, 51, of Marinette, Wisconsin, formerly of Hamden, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

She was born July 29, 1961 in New Haven to Henry J. and Ruth (Allen) Pascarella. Karen grew up in Hamden before moving to Georgia and eventually settling in Marinette in 1999.

In 2006 Karen married her longtime partner and soul mate, Tony Paris. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted the last four years to raising the light of her life, her grandson Haydon.

Karen will long be remembered by her many friends and family for her generosity and wonderful sense of humor.

Karen is survived by her husband Tony; three beautiful children whom she loved dearly, Amber Paris, Melissa Paris, and Anthony Paris, all of Marinette; her grandson, Hayden; a brother, Henry Pascarella (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and three sisters, Carol Crawford (Charles) of Hamden, Brenda Finoia (Joseph) of Cheshire, and Anna Russell of Hamden. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Pascarella; a sister, Patricia Iannotti, and a brother, Rocco Iezzi.

Services will be held at the Hanson-Onion-Martell Funeral Home in Marinette, WI on June 21, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Karen's memory.
