Hamden Obituaries: Marion G. Wojtyna, 90

Marion G. Wojtyna, 90, of Hamden, wife of the late Henry Wojtyna, passed away at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013.

She was the mother of Richard Wojtyna of Orange, Patricia (Richard) DelGaudio of Mooresville, NC and Gail Wojtyna and her spouse James Rieger of Estero, Fla., the loving grandmother of Christopher DelGaudio and honorary grandmother of Michele Malloy, Thomas and Stephen Santello. She is also survived by her sister Gertrude Tasker of Georgia.

Marion retired from the City of New Haven. She taught Tole Painting in New Haven and Hamden in the 1970's and 80's.

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Ave. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30a.m at St. Rita's Church. Internment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
