Hamden Police Seeking Public's Help in Finding iPhone Thieves

A man reportedly stole two iPhones and fled on foot from a T-Mobile store on Dixwell Avenue.

Hamden police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man and a woman who were involved in a theft of a pair of iPhones from a T-Mobile store on Dixwell Avenue on Tuesday.

Police said the pair, depicted in the above image, came into the 1225 Dixwell Ave. phone store during the afternoon and browsed for 15 minutes. The woman then decided to leave the store at which point the man snapped two display iPhones from their mounts, police said.


Store employees said he then fled on foot eastbound through the parking lot toward Putnam Avenue.

The description of the two people are as follows:

The man was white or Hispanic, in his 20’s, dark-colored hair, “Billy Goat” style goatee, tattoos on both arms, wearing a black and gray baseball hat.

The woman was white or Hispanic, late teens, dark-colored hair, wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.
