Hamden Residents Push For Changes At 'Dangerous' Intersection

People who live at the intersection of Haverford Street and Ridge Road are asking the town to do something to make it less dangerous.

WTNH reports that residents have been pushing town officials to do something at the intersection of Haverford Street and Ridge Road, such as make it a four-way stop, after there have been several accidents there. However, after hiring a consultant, the town found it not to be a high-frequency accident location. 

Still, town officials are looking to do something at the intersection, but said they don't want to rush it. They told WTNH they hope to have something done by the end of the year to make the intersection safer.
