Health Fair at St. Rita's Church Saturday

The St. Rita Church Parish Nurse Program will present a health fair tomorrow, Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Donnelly Parish Center, located on the lower level of St. Rita Church, 1620 Whitney Ave., Hamden.

Representatives from area businesses include Apex Pharmacy Home Care and Nutritional Center, Alzheimer's Association South Central CT Chapter, Maxim Home Health Care, Quinnipiac Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Opticare, Al-Anon, Esthetique Salon and Spa, Clellian Adult Day Center, LifeLine by YNHH, St. Rita Parish Nurse Program, YMCA, Atria-Larson Place, Rascals Gym, and ADHD Specialist for adults and children. Many additional tables and information from local businesses will be available. 

On-site services include free balance and vestibular testing, free blood pressure screening, and reflexology. Hamden Fire Department will have fire/rescue trucks on-site for kids--of all ages.

There will be many free take-home items, programs, demonstrations, and information for all ages.

Raffle items (most are valued at $100-$200) have been donated by Apex Pharmacy, Family And Esthetic Dentistry, Stop & Shop, Opticare, Thyme and Season Natural Foods, Rascals Gym, Clellian Adult Day Center, Atria-Larson Place, and Quinnipiac Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
