Holiday Closures Announced For Town Of Hamden
Officials announce the schedule for town buildings and trash collection for Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday & Presidents' Day.
HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday information.
Lincoln's Birthday: Wednesday, Feb. 12: Government Center, Keefe Community Center, the Senior Center, and the Hamden Transfer Station will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 12, in observance of Lincoln's Birthday, and will reopen Thursday, Feb. 13, at their regularly scheduled hours. Hamden Public Library buildings will be open Wednesday, Feb. 12, during their regularly scheduled hours.

Washington’s Birthday & Presidents’ Day: Monday, Feb. 17: Town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, the Senior Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Washington’s Birthday & Presidents’ Day, and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 18, at their regularly scheduled hours. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.
Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by these holidays.

Hamden’s Warming Center at the Keefe Community Center Gym will remain open 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., 7 nights a week through March 31. Click here for more information.
