Sarah Fox, Chief Executive Officer for Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) and David Fink, Housing Policy Consultant for South Central Regional Council of Governments (SCRCOG) will present on the following topics:
- What is affordable housing?
- Why is it so difficult to find affordable housing?
- What does it mean to say housing is a human right?
- How can we support neighbors who experience homelessness?
- How can folks support affordable housing in their neighborhood?
This will be the first in a series of community conversations hosted by Hamden’s Legislative Council and Hamden’s Planning and Zoning Department on how we can ensure all Hamden residents have a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.
