Hurricane Sandy Closes Hamden Schools Monday, Tuesday

Supt. Fran Rabinowitz has announced that school is cancelled both Monday and Tuesday due to the approaching Hurricane Sandy.

The storm is scheduled to hit the area beginning Monday, but its effects should begin to be felt beginning tonight. It could remain in the area for as long as 36 hours into Wednesday, forecasters say.
