Man, 27, Critical After Hamden Shooting: Police
BREAKING: Police said the man was shot multiple times in the back.
HAMDEN, CT — A New Haven man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times in the back early Saturday morning in Hamden, police said.
Police responded to the area of Oregon and Manilla Avenues around 4 a.m. for a report of shots fired. When police arrived on scene they found the 27-year-old man lying in the street and found that he had been shot multiple times in the back.
The victim was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with serious injuries and is currently listed in serious condition.
