New Haven Resident Discusses Recent Book at Hamden Public Library

Stephen Spignesi will host a free, open-to-the-public discussion at the Hamden Public Library.

Best-selling author and New Haven resident, Stephen Spignesi, will discuss his recent book, “Grover Cleveland’s Rubber Jaw and Other Unusual, Unexpected, Unbelievable but All-True Facts About America’s Presidents,” in the Friends Room of the Hamden Public Library, located at 2901 Dixwell Avenue, on Tuesday, June 2 at 7 p.m.

Spignesi, who is a practitioner in residence at the University of New Haven, has published more than 60 works, including books about Stephen King, the Beatles, American and world history, the Titanic, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Robin Williams, the work of Woody Allen, the lost books of the Bible and a cookbook. He is also the author of “Dialogues,” a novel that has been praised for “reinventing the psychological thriller.”

He has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, the Fox News Channel, and other TV and radio outlets in the U. S. and around the world. He was featured on the E! documentary, “The Kennedys: Power, Seduction and Hollywood,” A&E’s Biography of Stephen King and the recent ITV special “Autopsy: Robin Williams.”
