Obituary: Heidi Tuchmann, 91, of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT – (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home) Heidi Tuchmann, 91, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

Originally from Thun, Switzerland, Heidi trained as a Librarian. An adventurous spirit, Heidi came to the United States for work and later married and raised a family.

She loved her time outdoors in nature, working, travel, and sharing time with friends and family.

Heidi is survived by her children: Alan Tuchmann, Leslie Tuchmann (husband: Mark) and Mark Tuchmann (wife: Megan).

She will also be missed by her grandchildren; Zachary (wife: Ashley and great granddaughters: Freya and Faryn); Jordan, Nicholas, Mattie and Sammy.Arrangements: Services for Mrs. Tuchmann will be private.

There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, is assisting with her arrangements.
