Obituary: Kathleen A. Colliton Weisbruch, 58, of Hamden
Kathleen, a passionate worker and avid traveler, served 20 years for the Saint Vincent Special Needs Center, as well as independently.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Kathleen A. Colliton Weisbruch, 58, of Hamden passed away peacefully at Connecticut Hospice in Branford on August 11, 2021.
Kathleen was born 0ctober 6, 1962, in Brockton, MA. Her passing was due to complications with colon cancer.
She is predeceased by her father Frank. She is survived be her beloved husband Joseph and daughter Savannah, mother Jean of Hot Springs SD, brother Frank of Vermilion SD, sister Laura Mounce of West Chester PA, brother in-laws Vance, Dean, Mike, sister in-laws Patty, Susan, Judy and several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen received her BA degree in 1084 and MA degree in 1985 as a speech language pathologist. She worked 20 years for the Saint Vincent Special needs center and many independently.
Her passion and love was working with the most complicated and challenging autistic adults.
She loved to travel home to the Black Hills of South Dakota and her family's home in New Hampshire.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Yale's Smillow Cancer Center, Devine Street for their incredible support since she was diagnosed.
