Obituary: Rosemarie Fasano Alchimio, 86, of Hamden
Rosemarie, always dedicated and devoted to her family, loved to knit, bake and cherished shopping with her granddaughters.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Rosemarie Fasano Alchimio, 86 of Hamden passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Robert E. Alchimio. Rosemarie was born in New Haven on July 2, 1935, a daughter of the late Marcell and Fannie Mendillo Fasano, and was a lifelong Hamden resident.
She loved to knit and bake, but mostly loved shopping with her granddaughters.
Rosemarie is also survived by a son, Robert P. Alchimio and his wife Donna of Wallingford, two granddaughters, Alyssa and Alexa Alchimio of Wallingford, and a sister, Janet Corvi of Hamden.
Rosemarie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 2nd from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
