Obituary: Thomas J. O’Brien, 82, of Hamden
Thomas, a proud Army veteran and dedicated SNET employee, cherished spending time with friend and family, fishing and casino trips.
HAMDEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Thomas J. O’Brien, 82, of Hamden entered into rest on January 10, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of the late Karen Saner O’Brien. Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on March 6, 1939, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Eileen O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien leaves three sons Thomas J. (Tiny) O’Brien, Kevin (O'B), and John (Marisa) O’Brien; 3 grandchildren Sara, Jack and Cassidy and brothers Robert O'Brien of FL and Kenneth (Dee) O'Brien of NY.
Tom served In the Army during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he worked as a customer rep for SNET.
He enjoyed trips to the casino, fishing adventures, and traveling with his late wife who was the love of his life.
Tom loved nothing more than to share a beer and a story with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him
Visitation will take place on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home.
