QU Recognizes Students At The Hard Hat Ceremony

From QU: Quinnipiac University’s School of Engineering recognized 158 students at its third annual Hard Hat Ceremony Jan. 27 in the Mount Carmel Auditorium in the Center for Communications and Engineering.

Sixty-four students who are enrolled in the civil, industrial, mechanical, software engineering and computer science programs received initial achievement awards in the form of yellow hard hats emblazoned with, “Q,” on the front.

Juniors were given discipline stickers for advanced achievement, while seniors earned “2017” decals commemorating their year of graduation.

There were also special achievement colored stickers for leadership, academic excellence, research, competition, volunteering, internship and other accomplishments.
