Eastern Connecticut State University recently announced its list of ECSU Foundation Scholarship awardees for the 2013-14 academic year.
Jason Borgnine of Hamden was awarded the Barnes and Noble Endowed Scholarship. Borgnine's major is Physical Education.
Laura DeLucia of Hamden was awarded the ECSU Foundation Scholarship. DeLucia's major is Social Work.
Shannon Shultz of Hamden was awarded the First Niagara Scholarship. Shultz's major is Physical Education.
More than 325 Eastern students received ECSU Foundation Scholarships at a special reception on April 11.
The total amount of scholarship funds awarded by the ECSU Foundation totaled more than $500,000, a record amount.
