Trash Contracts Cancel West Woods Neighborhood Association Meeting
Legislative Council members scheduled to speak at the meeting now have to attend a special meeting that night, forcing the cancellation.
Monday's meeting of the West Woods Neighborhood Association has been cancelled, according to co-president Cindy Civitello.
The meeting was cancelled because several guest speakers were unable to cancel due to the scheduling of a special Legislative Council meeting Monday night, Civitello said.
The council is holding the special meeting in order to take up the town's contracts with Trashmaster for municipal solid waste pickup, recycling services and the bulk waste biannual pickups.
The WWNA meeting will be rescheduled, Civitello said.
