Whitneyville Branch Library To Present Program On Mediterranean Diet

Dr. Nicole Aviles, ND, of Whole Health Natural Family Medicine, will give a program on the health benefits of a Mediterranean diet on Thursday, October 6, 2022, 6:30 p.m. at the Whitneyville Branch Library, 125 Carleton Street, Hamden. The Mediterranean Diet is the traditional diet of the Mediterranean region, emphasizing foods rich in healthy fats, whole grains, and plenty of fruits and vegetables. It is often promoted for its impacts on cardiovascular health but research shows that it is also linked to improved brain health, blood sugar management, and more! Find out how you can implement these principles into a lifelong healthy diet.

Dr. Aviles specializes in nutrition counseling, routine wellness care, and the management of common and chronic conditions including hormone imbalances, autoimmune disease, mental health, eczema, acne and other skin conditions, diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
