Ex-President Obama Coming To CT Next Month
The Connecticut Forum series is hosting an ex-President at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.

HARTFORD, CT — A well-known speaker series out of Hartford has a big name coming next month — a very big name.
Former President Barack Obama will come to the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, 166 Capitol Ave., Hartford, as part of the Connecticut Forum program called "An Evening With Barack Obama."
The 44th President of the United States will be in Connecticut's capital city on Tuesday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m.

Hosting the event is the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
"As we launch our 34th season convening the leading thinkers, artists and cultural icons of our time, The Forum is delighted to host the world’s leading statesman for a far-reaching discussion," wrote the Connecticut Forum on its website.

The foundation is the "presenting host sponsor" of the forum.
The Hartford Foundation is celebrating 100 years of serving families across Greater Hartford’s 29 towns, "with the goal of creating a truly vibrant region and advancing equity for all," wrote the Connecticut Forum
Ticket information is not yet finalized, though the Connecticut Forum said season subscribers to the series can renew subscriptions starting Tuesday, May 13 at 10 a.m.
New subscriptions will go on sale on Monday, May 19, at 10 a.m.
