Flood Watch, 45 MPH Wind Gusts Forecast For Hartford/Tolland County
The National Weather Service has issued multiple weather statements for Hartford and Tolland counties.

HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Hartford and Tolland counties from 8 p.m. Thursday through Friday morning.
The weather service said:
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
- Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas
In a hazardous weather outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties, the weather service said:

"Heavy rain late today into early Friday may result in pockets of urban street flooding. The Friday morning commute may be impacted by the heavy rain. In addition, a period of southerly wind gusts of 30-45 mph or higher may result in the need for Wind Advisories for portions of southern New England."

This Afternoon: Showers likely. Patchy fog after 5pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 70. South wind around 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog before 10pm. Low around 57. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Friday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 11am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog between 7am and 8am. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 69. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
