Frost Advisory Issued, Then More Rain For Hartford/Tolland County

HARTFORD/TOLLAND/WINDHAM COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory from 11 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.

"Temperatures between 28 and 32 will result in frost formation....Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," the weather service said.

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 58. Northwest wind around 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 33. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 65. Light south wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly after 5am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. South wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 10am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. South wind 8 to 16 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Northwest wind 15 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Northwest wind 11 to 13 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29. North wind 6 to 8 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 62. North wind 6 to 9 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
