Hartford Man ID’d As Waterbury Murder Victim: PD

The victim of the Sept. 15 slaying was a 29-year-old, according to Waterbury police.

WATERBURY, CT — Police have identified the man who was shot to death on Charles Street Monday evening as a 29-year-old Hartford resident.

The victim was Frank Garay, according to Waterbury police Officer Nyjah Porcher.

No arrests have been made in the slaying.

Police were summoned on Monday, Sept. 15 around 7:48 p.m. following a report of shots fired outside 94 Charles Street.

Responding officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Wednesday the investigation is active and ongoing.
